Public Notice - May 20, 2010 Update

The Chetwynd & District Recreation Centre continues to undergo the expansion/renovation project.  

We are planning an official ribbon cutting ceremony for September 2010, with final date to be confirmed.

We anticipate that we will be open for operations prior to the September date.  No final date has been established as we are waiting for fire alarm panel and verification to allow public occupancy.

We will keep the public notified on opening dates through newspaper ads and on our website: www.gochetwynd.com 

The new facilities include: climbing wall, squash/raquetball court, fitness room, walking/running track and meeting rooms.
