District of Chetwynd - Emergency Services

Emergency Management

The District of Chetwynd fully supports and endorses the efforts and concepts of emergency management. The District has adopted the provincial emergency management model and principals of the BC Emergency Response Management System (BCERMS) and encourages its staff, citizens and businesses to participate in emergency management personally, corporately and its families.

The District of Chetwynd takes emergency management seriously; however, emergency preparedness is everyone's responsibility in order to minimize the potential impacts on the District, its employees, infastructure and services.
