Active Transportation Plan

The District of Chetwynd Council has adopted its first Active Transportation Plan. Thank you for all the feedback that helped build this plan! The Active Transportation Plan identifies priority areas and routes for investment in active transportation infrastructure, which will result in easier, safer, and healthier ways to move around Chetwynd.

Downtown Revitalization Plan

The District of Chetwynd is excited to showcase its new Downtown Revitalization Plan (DRP). The DRP will provide a roadmap for the revitalization and development of downtown Chetwynd. The main goal is to create spaces that will be used and enjoyed by residents of the community. Every initiative, design and recommendation is intended to establish the downtown as a community-focused environment, and the economic and cultural heart of Chetwynd.
