Windrow clearing will be completed as crews are available and is typically done within 24 hours of snow plowing.
During significant snowfall events like the one we are currently experiencing, it takes time for crews to reach every street. To cover as much ground as possible, crews will often make an initial pass down each lane to clear the bulk of the snow, then return when time allows to complete a thorough clean-up pass.
When heavy snow continues over multiple days, these clean-up passes may take a little longer, as crews must return frequently to our priority routes to maintain safe passage for emergency services and school buses.
Starting at 5:00 AM, extra equipment will be on the road assisting with snow removal, particularly in areas where snow has been temporarily piled.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we respond to this significant snowfall event.
