The Public Works Department is a group of individuals dedicated to the maintenance and operation of the municipal infrastructure. From street repairs and snow removal to waste water collection and water treatment and distribution, the public works department is committed to serving our residents by keeping our infrastructure reliable and safe.
Air Monitor
We now have real-time local air quality data for fine particulate matter available at the following link:

That link displays the Canadian Air Quality Health Index, but you can change it to report the data in other formats – for instance, concentration of fine particulate matter (PM 2.5) in µg/m3 – by clicking in the white window at the top left of the map and selecting the alternate units from the first drop-down menu. The sensor is located on the balcony at the District Office – information about the sensor is here:
