PUBLIC NOTICE – HERBICIDE USE

District Of Chetwynd

The District of Chetwynd intends to use herbicides to assist mechanical treatments on noxious weeds.

Main areas for treatment are:

Highway 97 corridor boulevards

Parks, downtown and greenspaces

Recreation Centre area

Sewage Treatment lagoon area

Herbicides being used:

Trillion (Dicamba, 2-4-D Amine, Mecoprop)

Treatments will commence on June 10-16, 2018 weather permitting

Signs will be posted where all treatments take place.
