Winter Hydrant Access Matters ❄️

During a fire or medical emergency, firefighters rely on clear, accessible fire hydrants to quickly establish a water supply. Hydrants buried in snow — or without a clear path — can cause critical delays when every second counts.

The Chetwynd Fire Department asks residents to help by keeping nearby hydrants shoveled out and a clear path maintained throughout the winter. This small effort helps us respond faster and keep our community safe.
